Saturday Snippets (September 20)

As well as reading a lot of books, I also read a ton of articles every week. Here are some of the articles that I’ve read recently and have found interesting, helpful, challenging and encouraging. I hope that they will be the same for you, my dear readers…

  1. Very encouraged by the Gen Z article. Some great ideas for how best to engage with them.

“The church must be in the business of theological, moral, and spiritual formation above entertainment. Gen Z does not benefit when the church merely entertains them.“ I liked this.

“The church doesn’t need more gatekeepers; it needs more shepherds.” I agreed with him that we need to be less sceptical of the genuineness of someone’s profession of faith, and draw alongside them to help them grow in their understanding as they try to follow Jesus as best they can—just like we all had to.
