If you have a smart phone, you probably use it for pretty much everything. Texts, social media, emails, notes, pictures, music, fitness tracking and so on, the list is massive. The average time a person spends on their phone is staggering. I am no different. Over the years I haven’t been the best example of how to manage my screen time, but I am making changes.

Does God Really Want All People To Be Saved?

There are some verses that are often thrown around in theological debates, 1 Timothy 2:4 is one of them. Let’s add in a few of the preceding verses to give us a bit of context. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 says “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, ²for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. ³This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, ⁴who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.“
