Church leadership is hard; it involves stress, worries, late nights, deep conversations and frustrations. But at the same time church leadership is a joy; it is a pleasure to serve, care for, guide, point people to Christ and love people like family. I have just started my third year of ministry at a church leadershipContinue reading “The heart of an under-shepherd…”

Books about THE Book…
The Bible contains 66 books and each book of the Bible has hundreds and probably thousands of books written about it. Those books vary and can be called commentaries, study guides, devotional books or exegetical works. I have the privilege
Give them meat not milk…
I’ve written before about the importance of sharing solid truths with children. It’s important because we need to fill their minds with truths that will carry them through life. We need to lift their eyes to see the gospel and the amazing Saviour that we have in Jesus!
3 books to take them deeper…
Children are a wonderful gift from God and they are at that stage in life where they are sponges for information. Everyday they are learning new words, seeing new things and hearing new information. Facing snarls and scowls…
I’ve been around people who are in ministry my whole life, I’ve been in ministry for a few years and I’ve learned many things. Two things that I’ve learned are 1) ministry is fun, and 2) ministry is hard.
Let women speak…
A few days ago I published two book reviews in one post. One book had over 15 authors who contributed and the other was written by one author. But all of the contributors were women. This got me thinking; why do we stop learning from women?
Hear the voice of women…
One of the things that I’ve noticed is that there are significantly fewer well-known authors, in the Christian world, who are women. I don’t know why exactly this is because often times women are the ones who teach us to walk, to eat and to speak. So why stop learning from them when we growContinue reading “Hear the voice of women…”
